Social4TheWin: The Creator's Wardrobe
Hosting our second panel event with incredible creators and brands all about the fashion space!
If you're new here, we cover everything social—whether it's being social IRL or crushing it on social media. We highlight creators who are killing it and break down how brands should actually be thinking about their social strategy.
Our Next Event:
This Thursday, September 19th from 7:00 - 10:00 PM!
In partnership with NY Swim Week, we are hosting an incredible networking and panel event this Thursday! Please see below for some more information!
In the competitive world of fashion and beauty, content can tend to be homogenous. It can be hyperfocused on looks and aesthetics, but there’s so much more than just following trends—it demands creative strategy. Right after New York Fashion Week, this event will explore how brands and creators can differentiate themselves in such saturated industries.
Volunteers:
We are also looking for one more volunteer to help check people in at the door! We have the incredible Olga Egorova who is already helping us! She’s a digital marketing manager at Samsung, so there’s no better chance to speak with her than to volunteer!
If you sign up as a volunteer we will also give you a shoutout at the panel and on our next newsletter. It will also be a great way to see all of the attendees and learn who might be the best person for you to meet.
The Location:
We will be hosting this at an incredible cocktail bar in Gramercy Park. The venue is normally closed during this time, but we will have the venue to ourselves.
Our Panelists!
Natalie serves as the Manager of Visual Production for Windows and Special Events at Fendi, where she’s responsible for crafting visual storytelling for one of the most iconic luxury fashion brands. With experience at Uniqlo, she also has a deep understanding of the fashion and merchandising space. Her expertise in curating events and creating compelling visual experiences makes her background particularly interesting in understanding how brands are building events and collaborating with creators for live activations in the fashion world.
My partner for this incredible event! Evita is a true multi-hyphenate who brings a wealth of experience to the panel as the Founder of NY Swim Week. As an Event Planner for Life Time Fitness, Designer, and Influencer, she understands the intersection of event curation, fashion, and personal branding. Her experience in launching NY Swim Week is especially relevant to this fashion event, as she has firsthand knowledge of building platforms for creators and designers to shine in a competitive industry.
Here are her socials:
Alan King, the visionary behind AKINGS and a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, is known for his innovative designs, best known for his “J Shape” jeans (where customers no matter their height can wear them), that blend streetwear with high fashion. With over 350K followers and a feature on HBO Max’s "The Hype," Alan is a designer and creator who embodies the power of social media in shaping and building modern fashion trends. His experience shows the intersection of being a creator and brand builder, leveraging social media to drive brand discoverability and collaboration.

Melissa Becraft is a model, signed to Wilhelmina, a creator with 2.8M followers, and a dancer/choreographer, having previously performed with the Brooklyn Nets. Melissa’s approach to content, blending fashion and dance, makes her a stand out creator that looks at the fashion world in a truly unique way. Her “Redhead Cartoon Character” series where she dresses similarly to famous characters and dances to popular sounds from their shows immediately is something I hadn’t seen before. Melissa’s expertise is invaluable for understanding how to use social media platforms to grow a personal brand while finding ways to integrate fashion into her individual interests and content style.

If you’ve been on this newsletter for some time you should have an idea of who this guy is - the one currently typing this out. I’m an ex-TikTok employee, a creator known as Excel Daddy, and the founder of Social4TheWin. At Social4Thewin I consult with brands and agencies on how to truly approach social media. It’s about building a cohesive and strategic approach while developing a social-first creative strategy that truly resonates with platforms like TikTok, not just snipping up a TV ad and putting it on social media.
If you would like to attend, please RSVP here. And if you have any friends who are in the marketing or creator landscape, or are creators themselves we’d appreciate it if you could share this with them. Thank you!
Hope to see you there!
Best,
Jacob
